It is a nice example of the basic grade of percussion fowling piece, single barrel with back action lock. It has minimal engraving, not even a Maker's signature, however received with a tag stating RICHARD HOLLIS who had a shop in London between 1790 and 1850. It may just be that his mark is under the barrel
